It's been selected!

My animation entitled "rabbit" has been selected to be screened at Filmed By Bike, a local film festival dedicated to bicycles. I've been working on this animation for a month or so now and was originally planning on screening it at The Platform Animation Festival. Until, I found out about Filmed By Bike and figured I should enter both. I am still hoping to make it into Platform, but just to have it seen by a large audience is more than I could ask for. Below I've posted some info about the festival. If you're in the Portland area or just a diehard bike/carlos fan, you should come see the show.

FILMED BY BIKE
A festival of bike-themed movie shorts

Clinton Street Theater, Portland, Oregon April 13-15, 2007

Bicycle scenes from around the world will overtake the silver screen at Clinton Street Theater in Portland, Oregon for three full days of Filmed by Bike, a festival of bike-themed movie shorts.
Over 50 international movies were submitted, but only 12 will make the final cut. The festival, now in it's fifth year, runs April 13-15, 2007. The opening night extravaganza is on Friday.

OPENING NIGHT
Festivities begin on Friday night with the "Opening Night Throwdown"
extravaganza featuring drinks, a raffle and entertainment. In the mix of raffle prizes is an Electra Amsterdam, a unique Euro-style bicycle donated by the Bike Gallery. Tickets for the Amsterdam are available online in advance or on Friday night for $1.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Filmed by Bike is a world-renowned film festival, but it only happens here in Portland, the bicycle capital of the U.S. From steamy stories of bicycle love to BMX trick riding, Filmed by Bike offers a small peek into the creative psyche of artists who are passionate about bicycles.
